Two of the three products Felix prescribes are semaglutide: Ozempic, authorised in Canada for type 2 diabetes at up to 2.0 mg, and Wegovy, authorised for weight management and titrated to 2.4 mg. Same molecule, different authorised indication, different maximum dose, different device. The third, Mounjaro, is tirzepatide and outside this site's scope. What matters here is that the semaglutide Felix dispenses is the same active ingredient as the Canadian generic — Health Canada authorises a generic only on demonstrated bioequivalence to the reference product.
Felix serves nine of the ten provinces. It does not currently serve Quebec, which is regulated separately through the Collège des médecins du Québec — Quebec residents should look at MyRocky instead.

Editorial Verdict
If you want Ozempic or Wegovy by name, Felix is a clean way to get them: a real assessment, a licensed practitioner, follow-up built into the program, and nothing to pay to find out whether you qualify. On the care around the prescription there is nothing here to complain about.
The molecule question is harder to argue. Generic semaglutide is the same active ingredient at the same strengths, cleared by Health Canada on demonstrated bioequivalence, and it costs a fraction of the brand-name route. What the premium buys is the originator device and the name on the box — which some people genuinely want, and which is worth being honest about rather than dressing up as a clinical difference.
Our position: brand-name semaglutide is a preference, not a therapeutic upgrade. If you hold that preference and live in one of the nine provinces served, Felix serves it well. If you do not, the generic is the same medicine for less money.
